Its Spring and new beginnings are in the perfumed air. Just before Memorial Day, I become invigorated with all the farm chores and planting. Gene is busy with restoration and repair projects. The dogs follow scent in the fresh spring air.
see the horses out to pasture in the early mornings
and the goats follow me anywhere, as long as I have feed in a can to shake...
Everyone needs grooming, but lots needs to be planted, and time rules everything now. In the winter, time does not matter, so in a way, except for the cold, its the most relaxing time of year for us.
