HORSE HOUND AND FARM RESCUE

In our efforts to continue our work we need to raise funds to form our HORSE, HOUND, AND FARM RESCUE Our farm has taken in many homeless animals we have focused on hound dogs in particular we have adopted mustangs from the BLM -rounded up from State Lands we have worked hard to save our farm in down years we want to assist other farms in the future when times get tough We want to continue our work!!!! farm problems stem from natural disasters and the tomato blight which ravaged our farm crops several years in a row / this was followed by the floods of this past season which greatly reduced our harvest again. All of these crop losses add up to lost income. We have a beautiful Bloodhound which would be great for law enforcement and rescue operations. Anyone interested in this work. The dog sells for $700. We have a small beagle female who is very skiddish - found nearby - and needs to be fixed. We are trying to raise money for this procedure. We would be willing to trade this dog for someone willing to pay the spaying. We have a male treeing walker - smaller but very nicelooking - also willing to trade dog for someone willing to pay the neutering. By placing these hound dogs in new homes we will reduce our costs - we are a no kill facility and keep all of our animals happy healthy for as long lifetimes as possible. They all would be sad to leave here but we believe placement in good homes is a viable option for our sustainablity.

Animals Lost and Found

What came for us this Christmas is a young female beagle - who peered out of the woods for 3 weeks every now and than but would not let me catch it.  It happened upon my neighbors lawn one night whence I enlisted the aid of her dogs to capture this one.  The beagle has been with us ever since - 2 weeks now.  It is very skiddish - but seen herre with Bo Bo our rescued treeing walker hound - from the herkimer SPCA over 7 years ago now.

I have been a dog rescuer my whole life, growing up in an area where stray dogs were so prevalent, it was heartbreaking for me.  Many would end up in body bags at the "Humane Society", euthanized prematurely.  These days, we can communicate alot more efficiently when we lose a pet - through Craigslist and other local postings - and vets offices.  But many people abandon dogs they no longer have the means or ability to care for.   I have cared for numerous dogs over many decades - striving for a quality long lived life of health and happiness for all creatures.  The dogs are run almost every day for starters - hound dogs thrive on open space and their senses of scent stimulated.  Our farm devotes 3 kennels to Hound dogs -  our Hound Dog Rescue - a no kill facility.  An expense which eats up about $8 of my earnings per day for just our cats and dogs.
I have done this for years uncompensated.   Non profits receive countless donations for their work - and someday I hope to form a non profit to continue my work in a sustainable way.

Noise Pollution

I really value privacy, peace and calm.  The future of more noise pollution is not promising.

"Domestic drones currently cost anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 for a small system like the DraganflyerX6, which stays aloft only 15 minutes, to more than $1 million for sophisticated fixed-wing drones that can remain aloft for hours."  NYTimes article
